The Egyptian Darts Federation, in cooperation with the African Darts Council (ADC) and under the umbrella of the World Darts Federation (WDF), proudly announces the first edition of the AfroArab Darts Open 2025, to be held at the Ivy Cyrene Island Resort – Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
This landmark tournament will take place in December 2025, marking a new milestone in the history of darts across Africa and the Arab world. The event is officially recognized as a WDF Bronze-ranked tournament, bringing together elite players and national teams from both regions.
The AfroArab Open will feature six competition categories:
- Seniors: Men’s Singles & Ladies’ Singles
- Under 23: Boys’ Singles & Girls’ Singles
- Youth: Boys’ Singles & Girls’ Singles
All matches will follow the WDF 501 format (straight in, double out), ensuring international competitive standards. Players from all WDF member countries are eligible to participate, except current PDC Tour Card holders, as per WDF regulations.
The event will be powered by DartConnect scoring technology and broadcast via live streaming, offering players and fans a world-class experience in the heart of Sharm El-Sheikh.
Participants and guests can enjoy full-board accommodation at the luxurious Ivy Cyrene Island Resort, which also serves as the official venue for the tournament.
